Branding

Social media - As you may have noticed we have started posting regularly on our socials @gleni.co.uk on Instagram and gleni.co.uk on Facebook. We will continue to post every Tuesday and Friday fortnightly. We will also be adding extra content such as Posts, Recipes, Blogs, Videos and more into our schedule. However, all the latest and exclusive content will primarily be found on our website. Update, we don’t use Threads (Meta) any more and prioritise our Feeds page.

All posts via Instagram are posted through @gleni.co.uk. The relevant @glenibakes and @glenichocolatier accounts will continue to be added as collaborators, depending on the relevance of the post. If you want to just see baking, go direct to @glenibakes or for just chocolate content go to @glenichocolatier.

Last year, Rhys from Redditch Connected and I worked hard adding new features and improving the website. We had big plans, some of these were Feed and Videos! This year we have exciting plans for new features on our website and are looking forward in sharing them with you in due course. I can tell you that we are doing a massive tidy up of the site and this will make everything look new and feel more like a premium brand.

Why create a Gleni Account?
This will enable you to create a Gleni account of your own so you can favourite Posts and Videos, Like Feed posts, Share and Comment around the site and lots more. If you haven’t already got an account register at: https://gleni.co.uk/register or see link in bio.

This January we added profile pictures to the accounts, which are now available on our site. Go to manage accounts to update your profile. So get adding your own profile picture to personalise your account.

New site features -
Last year we launched Feed page on May 30th 2024 and Videos page on November 11th 2024.

Feed - This page on the gleni.co.uk website allows us to post Announcements, Behind-the-scenes, Live updates, and a lot more! We allow our users to view with or without an account but with an account you can Like and Comment on Feed. We have also just released Share to Feed which allows users to share individual feed posts.

As Feed has only been with us for a short while, we are still adding to it and for Christmas 2024 we had a Gleni Advent Christmas for the first time, Which was a huge success! Instead of our usual schedule there was 25 days of Gleni Advent which was made up of exclusive content and some festive content from our Gleni site.

Videos - This page on the gleni.co.uk website allow us to share Videos to our site which allows us to have all of our content in one place. On our videos we allow our users to view with or without an account but when using an account you can favourite videos that saves to your account allowing you to watch them back whenever you want in one easy place. We have also added comments and share to videos and lots more!

Music - We are on the hunt for musicians! So if you’re musician who wants to get their music out there, then we can feature your music in our videos. By us using our music information section in our videos pages we can add your website to the section. We also can add buttons to stream your music though listen on Spotify, YouTube music, Apple Music and Amazon music!

My goals for this year, for the website are to create lots of Portfolio, Recipe, Blogs, Videos, Feed posts and Lots more! Excited to see what 2025 bring us.

Shop - Update, sadly during 2024 we had to close the shop due to very high cocoa prices which are still very high and are likely to continue going up this year. It is just not cost effective for us to open the shop at this time but if anything changes, we will keep you informed. Thank you for understanding.
